Privacy Policy
1. Information Collected
Pam's Pages intentionally maintains a minimal data footprint to maximize user privacy:
- Account Information: Only the user's first name and email address are collected upon a request to join. Last names are explicitly omitted from the registration request data to preserve initial privacy.
- User-Generated Content: Pam's Pages stores the public listing text, portfolio images, and profile descriptions that users choose to publish on the directory.
- Internal Messages: The text of messages sent through the internal inbox feature is stored solely to deliver them to the intended recipient and maintain platform safety.
2. Data Protection and Usage
- No Selling Data: Personal information, email addresses, and message histories are never sold, rented, or traded to third-party advertisers or data brokers.
- Data Security: Industry-standard database security protocols—including enterprise-grade AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS encryption in transit—are utilized to safeguard email addresses and messaging records from unauthorized access.
- Visibility Control: User email addresses are kept entirely hidden and are never exposed to other users or public search engines. All communication happens safely inside the internal Pam's Pages inbox wrapper.
3. Governing Law
These Terms and Privacy Policy are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action not subject to the arbitration agreement must be filed in the courts located in San Francisco, California.
